Privacy Policy
Nerdspace Labs (“Nerdspace Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Orbit, a Discord community control center. This Privacy Policy explains what information Orbit processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.
Information Orbit processes
- Discord information: Discord user IDs, usernames, server IDs, server names, roles, channels, permissions, and configuration needed to provide the requested bot and dashboard features.
- Connected accounts: When you authorize Twitch or YouTube for creator alerts and event planning, Orbit receives the account information and permissions returned by that provider. Credentials are stored server-side in encrypted form.
- Community content: Messages, schedules, alerts, uploaded question banks, event settings, ticket configuration, and other content you choose to submit or configure through Orbit.
- Uploads: Image files submitted for scheduled Discord posts may be stored in Orbit’s configured Cloudflare storage until they are deleted or no longer needed.
- Diagnostics and security data: Sanitized error details, request identifiers, timestamps, rate-limit information, and security events used to keep Orbit reliable. Orbit is designed to exclude tokens, secrets, cookies, authorization headers, credentials, and stored message content from diagnostic reports.
- Session data: A secure, HttpOnly session cookie and server-side session record used to keep you signed in to the dashboard.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate users, operate Orbit’s Discord features, send configured announcements, deliver scheduled actions, process creator-platform requests, protect the service, troubleshoot failures, and comply with legal obligations. Orbit does not sell personal information and does not use your connected account data or community content to train generative AI systems.
Third-party services
Orbit connects to Discord, Cloudflare, and any third-party platform you choose to authorize. Those services receive information according to the action you request and their own privacy policies. Disconnecting an account stops future Orbit use of that authorization, but does not erase records already retained by the provider.
Sharing and security
We do not sell your information. Information may be processed by service providers required to host Orbit, store data, deliver queued work, or communicate with an authorized platform. We use server-side access controls, encrypted credentials, secure cookies, same-origin protections, and least-privilege integrations. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and your choices
Orbit retains configuration, session, delivery, and security records for as long as needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or meet legal requirements. Server owners can remove configured features, disconnect authorized accounts, and delete supported configuration from the dashboard. To request help with data associated with Orbit, contact Nerdspace Labs through the Nerdspace Labs Discord community.
Children
Orbit is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Orbit’s features, integrations, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
